PROJECT UPDATE: FROM SINGLE TO SAGA What began as a single experiment with "Thunder of the Titan" has evolved into something bigger. I am expanding this story into a full Concept Album: The Rise of Zeus. Just like the classic vinyl eras, we are exploring different sub-genres—moving from epic hard rock to the gritty, smoke-filled blues of this track. Welcome to Side A, Track 2.
The Partition of the Cosmos The Titan War is over. The swords are down. Now, three brothers stand in the silence to decide the fate of the universe. This isn't a battle of strength—it’s a gamble in the dark.
Experience the pivotal moment where Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades divide their domains through the gritty, smoke-filled swagger of 1970s blues rock.
What to Expect. Deep, walking bass lines and "swampy" grooves Vintage Hammond organ swirls and wah-wah guitars Gritty, conversational vocals with cynical swagger A tension-filled "breakdown" simulating the draw Authentic "dead room" 70s studio production
The Mythology: After overthrowing their father Kronos, the three victorious brothers—Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades—had to divide the cosmos among themselves. Rather than fighting again, they agreed to a game of chance. They placed "lots" (shards or stones) into a helmet and shook it. Zeus drew the Sky (Lightning), Poseidon drew the Sea (Trident), and Hades... Hades drew the Underworld. A single moment of luck defined their eternal roles.
Musical Journey: While Part 1 captured the high-fantasy epic, this track pivots to the gritty reality of the aftermath. It draws on the cool, blues-infused rock of bands like Deep Purple, The Doors, and Pink Floyd. The production is drier and more intimate, creating the atmosphere of a backroom deal. The cynical lyrics and strutting rhythm section emphasize that being a god isn't just about power—it's about politics, luck, and knowing when you've been dealt a bad hand.

Discussion: If you were Hades, would you have accepted the result, or fought for a recount?
