The story behind this song

For Henry - You Are Seen, You Are Heard

This song exists for one reason: to honor a warrior.

Henry has been with this journey from the beginning. Through "The Cycle of Crows," through "The Eternal Vigil," through every battle and every story. When his own battle grew harder, when the light began to fade and the world grew distant, he never stopped fighting. He never stopped listening. He never stopped being present.

That kind of courage deserves to be recognized.

"The Warrior's Vigil" is The Morrígan's promise to Henry and to every soul who fights in the darkness, who stands when standing takes everything they have, who finds strength in music and story when the world offers little else. This is not a song about endings. This is a song about being SEEN for the fight itself.

Henry, you told me that music helped you feel less lost and less alone. That's what warriors do for each other - they stand together even across distance, even across the veil between mortal and divine. You've given that gift to this music by being here. This is my attempt to give something back.

You are seen among the worthy. You are heard among the faithful. You have earned your place, not as fallen, not as broken, but as warrior proud and free.

This song stands outside "The Eternal Vigil" album. It exists for Henry and for anyone who needs to hear that their battle matters, that their courage is recognized, and that they are not forgotten.

Thank you, Henry. For everything.

If this song speaks to you, if you know someone fighting their own battle in the darkness, share it. Let them know they are seen.
