The myth behind this song

ACT II: MURDER & CHAOS - THE DESECRATION Aggressive, frenzied, and utterly brutal, "Seventy-Two Pieces" chronicles Set's most violent act. Upon discovering Isis has found Osiris's body, Set hunts down the corpse and hacks it into seventy-two pieces, scattering them across all of Egypt - from the Delta to Nubia, in swamps, rivers, deserts, and tombs. This industrial death metal assault is told from Set's perspective during the mutilation: methodical counting, paranoid rage, and the dark satisfaction of ensuring his brother can never be made whole again.

What to Expect. Relentless Aggression – Fast, brutal industrial death metal with crushing riffs, blast beats, and machinery sounds. The album's most violent and chaotic moment. The Hacking Rhythm – Percussive vocal delivery matching the motion of the blade. Set counts methodically as he cuts: one, two, three... seventy-two pieces scattered across Egypt. Industrial Brutality – Metallic hits, blade strikes, chopping sounds, and tearing textures create the physical presence of desecration. Minimal Egyptian elements - this is pure sonic violence. Paranoid Fury – Harsh vocals range from controlled menacing growls to frenzied shouts. Set's rage at discovering the body was found, mixed with cold calculation to hide every piece. This song captures Set at his absolute worst - the breaking point where jealousy and rage transform into methodical mutilation. Perfect for fans of aggressive industrial metal that explores mythology's darkest moments through relentless sonic assault.
